Steampunk cosplayer is thrown out of family event for being too scary. Twice.


There’s one rule and one rule only for family events held down the park: Don’t frighten the kiddiewinks.

And Lee here WENT TOO FAR when he decided that the Grimsby Wonderful World festival was just the right time and place to dress up as a plague doctor, complete with severed head.

To be fair to Lee, his nose is actually that shape under the mask.

“It may have looked a bit strange, but I am still human.”

Unfortunately, Lee blew his chances of sympathy from that most important part of British society (people who comment under local newspaper stories) by trying to get in for a second time in the costume and getting into a bit of a barney with security.

Anyway, it’s worth pointing out that the event was part of the Dong Energy 10K Fun Run.

Heh. He said “Dong”.
