The old pound coins ceased to be legal tender land week, but its hardly a surprise that there are still millions of the things in circulation.
And that means that you shouldn’t be too surprised if one or two end up in your pocket.

Things you can do when you end up with some out-of-date pound coins in your change:
- Take them to your nearest bank, who will be happy to change them for new pound coins
- Give them to charity, who will then take them to a bank and the charity gets £££s and everybody is happy
- Go to the paper because you are FUMMIN
