It’s that time of year again as the kids go back to school, and are immediately sent home for wearing the wrong school uniform.
Then their parents throw a hissy fit and go to the local newspapers, meaning that the poor kiddiewinks are tarred for their entire school lives as “That kid whose parent went to the papers”.
Interestingly, an article headlined What parents can do if sent home from school for wearing the wrong uniform has appeared in local newspapers up and down the country. Unfortunately they missed a trick by not having “Drop everything and go to the papers” as step one. Poor show.

This was before the schools even went back, and nobody’s been sent home or put into isolation. But it’s on topic, and the kid is slipping into the bushes like Homer Simpson.
Of course, this is just the opening salvo in a long few weeks on the school uniform front.
