APILN stands for Angry People In Local Newspapers
Are you angry?
Is your fury about something really trivial?
Get in touch with your local newspaper, and they’ll send a reporter around to ask about how old you are, whether you are a key worker, and if you have any medical conditions.
Then a photographer will come round to take a picture of you looking glumly at whatever it is that has made you angry (or if you are a victim of petty theft, a picture of the space where the thing that’s made you angry used to be).
Then they publish the story, and we shove it on the internet for a laugh.
