Aussie woman finds out the hard way that you don’t park on the pavement

How do you make somebody do a face that would curdle milk? Send them a surprise parking ticket in the post, it seems.

And if you work in parking enforcement, why not give it a go? It works exactly 100 per cent of the time.

Look…

Sunshine Coast Daily: Woman fights local council over fine after she parked across the pavement to fix a trailer to her car

Yes, it is a terribly unfair way to find yourself A$111 out of pocket, but look at that picture. You couldn’t do better sucking lemons.

But as the council says, she’s bang to rights: “The vehicle in question was illegally parked across an entire pedestrian footpath at a traffic light controlled intersection creating a dangerous situation for pedestrians who would have been forced onto the roadway.”

And the real kick in the teeth is that the parking warden had the fine posted to her rather than handed to her in person, all for an extra A$17.50 admin fee.

That particular part of Australia is a den of fury, if the regular appearance of the Sunshine Coast Daily is anything to go by:

“Yeah, naaah, I’m a baker. It’s not like I’d have lamped ’em with this.”

Sunshine Coast Daily: Christian school demands kid has Justin Bieber haircut …err… cut

Just get it cut, and love it. All the cool kids are skinheads these days, anyway.
