The Many Shades of Hunky Mullet Weatherman

There’s a weatherman who does the St Petersburg forecasts on Russia’s Rossiya1 TV channel.

He’s hunky.

He has a mullet.

He only ever wears pastel shades and has a purple tablet computer cover which he carries on set for no reason whatsoever.

He is Hunky Mullet Weatherman.

And I think you should get to know him.

He is a veritable rainbow, serious at the front, party round the back.

He is the kind of person you’d want at your party, preferably on the door as a bouncer.

GREEN.

LILAC.

CERISE.

RED.

I DUNNO, SOME SORT OF DIRTY ORANGE AND WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO THE MULLET?

YELLOW. THAT’S BETTER.

Evgeny Petrov, we salute you and your pastel colour choices.

Just make sure you remember the gel and let’s see no repeat of that orange bouffant incident. You probably scared small children with that smile.

Video, you say? Why yes there’s video.

I have a standing offer of two shiny pounds for any UK weather forecaster who copies this look and style on British TV.

And it’s a “NO” from Channel Four.

Come on Schafernaker – don’t let the side down.
